GEORGIOS SKLIVANITIS
Building an Underwater Connection
Currently a research assistant professor in the College of Engineering and Computer Science, Georgios Sklivanitis, Ph.D., has been inventing for as long as he can remember. His innovative accomplishments include winning the 2014 Nutaq Software-Defined Radio Academic U.S. National Contest and founding Extreme Comms Lab, a company working to leverage a novel method of underwater communication. Dr. Sklivanitis' research interests span the areas of signal processing, software-defined wireless communications and networking, cognitive radio, and underwater acoustic communications.
