Welcome to the Summer 2026 Semester!��

Students Fall e-Permits will be available starting August 1st.

Click here and follow the prompts to register. License plate numbers serve as the vehicle identifier (license plates do not include the letter “O”; only the number “0”), so please be sure all information is correct to avoid a citation. You may have up to 2 vehicles per ePermit, but only 1 may be parked on campus at a time. Everyone parking on campus must have a valid ePermit.Student’s Fall 2026 e-Permits will expire December 31, 2026.

STUDENTS��

• Must purchase an ePermit for $0.00 and attach vehicle to ePermit (cost of ePermit is included in tuition fees).��
• If you add vehicles to “Edit Profile” you MUST also add the vehicle to “My Permits” to avoid receiving a citation for no valid ePermit.��
• Commuter students: park in blue lots; you may park in red lots between 6 p.m. – 6 a.m.��
• Resident students: park in green lots; you may park in blue or red lots between 6 p.m. – 6 a.m. unless otherwise posted. Do not park in any parking garages 1 and 3.��
• Resident students: May park in parking garage 2 on floors 4 and 5
• Jupiter residents (black ePermit): may park in any blue lots when visiting the Boca Raton Campus.��
• Meters are reserved for visitors; do not park at meters if you have an active ePermit.��
• Parking on the grass, in a fire lane, or on the street will result in the issuance of a $25.00 citation.��
• Lot 40 is reserved for Palm Beach State use only.��
• Do not back in; all vehicles must be parked nose in with the license plate visible failure to do so will result in the issuance of a $25.00 citation.��
• As a courtesy, for the first 2-weeks of the semester, Boca Raton, Davie, and Jupiter campus students will not be cited for no ePermit only in the student lots ; a warning will be issued to encourage parking in correct areas. ��
• If you receive a ticket, make sure you either pay or appeal; if you have three or more unpaid citations, your vehicle will be booted.��

NOTE: 

Students attending the Fort Lauderdale campus are able to park on the 6th and 7th floors of the parking garage (144 SE 1st Ave.). The areas dedicated to FAU/Broward College are 7th floor (roof top), 6A, 6C and ramp 6E on the 6th floor.��You will need to display a valid hangtag which will be available for pick up in the lobby of the Ft. Lauderdale campus (111 East Las Olas Blvd.) on the following dates: Tuesday, Aug. 25, 10am-2pm, Wednesday, Aug. 26, 12pm-5pm, Monday, Aug. 31, 2pm-6pm, or Thursday, Sept. 3, 9am-1pm.

Access to the flat lot in Fort Lauderdale is available to students Monday through Friday, 6 p.m. – 5 a.m., and any time during the weekend. Otherwise, pick-up hangtags at the Boca Campus Parking and Transportation Office located in SU-80 Monday – Friday 8 a.m. till 5 p.m.

Please follow these very important rules to avoid getting a citation:��

��Fall 2026 - Parking Resources and New Updates

Vehicle Registration

Students are required to register for their vehicle parking permits each semester. Please visit��/parking/all-permits/��for information and registration.

Parking Resources and New Updates

• On-Campus Shuttle System – FAU operates and on-campus shuttle service to transport students around campus and another shuttle to and from the Jupiter Campus. Visit the link below for shuttle stop locations and schedules.�� You can download the app for real time information.

• Palm Tran Bus –��/parking/palmtran/
• Palm Tran offers a bus route (Route 94) that runs directly between the Tri-Rail station at Yamato Road and FAU. The shuttle runs every 20 minutes from 6:45 am - 9:00 pm and is a short 10 minute ride. Passengers must show their FAU Owl Card in order to avoid paying a bus fare.��
• Parking Apps.
• FAU Parking utilizes several apps to provide resources, some in real time, to the campus community.�� Visit��/parking/apps/��for app information
• FAU Parking App
• With the FAU Parking App, waste no time wondering if parking will be available at a destination or by circling around the parking lots for a space. Finding parking doesn't have to be a pain. Make it a smooth, stress-free experience with the app!
• ETA Transit
• ETA Transit allows riders to select and compare multiple routes, view all current and upcoming arrival times, and receive communications regarding system outages, delays and other critical information on any iPhone or Android smartphone or tablet
• ParkMobile
• ParkMobile offers the convenience of seamless mobile payments for lot or garage parking, making your parking experience effortless and stress-free. ParkMobile gives you the ability to park, pay, and extend your parking session right from the palm of your hand.
• Autel Charge
• Start and stop charging using the����Autel����Charge app.������Displays the availability status of public chargers on������the map. (available, in-use, out of order, etc.). View������site information within the map including pictures,����address, energy prices, hours of operation, quantity������of chargers and connectors. Navigate to a desired������site using the integrated navigation map.����
• New parking spots – based on reconfiguring the parking lots (Lots 21, 22, 23, & 92)) over last and this summer, we have added a total of 295 new spots
• With the opening of Talon Hall, we are bringing 437 parking spots back into our available inventory.
• Lot 25 – this lot was all blue permit and it has been reconfigured to ALL permit.����
• To accommodate our resident student population (green permit) with safety in mind, we have:
• Reconfigured parking lots to move resident student parking closer to the residence halls
• Lot 25 – this lot was all blue permit and it has been reconfigured to ALL permit.����
• Lot 22 – added 24 new spots for resident students (Green Permits)
• Lot 23 – added 60 new spots for resident students (Green Permits)
• Reconfigured Parking Garage 2 (PG88) to make the 4^th and 5^th floors generating an additional 384 resident student parking spaces
• This equates to a total of 710 additional parking spots for resident students.
